Shankar’s post-production plans for Sivaji

The general protocol of venue for generating prints for any AVM production is at Prasad Labs. But now there could emerge a trendsetter in this area associated with Sivaji. This film as everyone is aware of is the much awaited movie of 2007 not only in Tamil Nadu but all round the globe where fans of Rajnikanth reside.
The combination of Rajni, Shankar and Rahman –the stalwarts of Kollywood is anticipated to rock.

The film roll for Sivaji is said to be purchased at Kodak in Mumbai and developed at the same premises. But venue for print generation is not yet finalized. It is alleged that the number of prints may touch the four hundred and fifty mark which is very high for any Tamil film. Now there are many companies vying to get the order for printing. Grapevine says that efficient firms which are committed in meeting deadlines in terms of time would only be considered. Meanwhile Shankar has decided to be surreptitious about the details of the company that is likely to receive this mega order to check clippings from being leaked to the media.
