London streets and Thames recreated in Chennai for Sivaji

Folks, the sun is beating down on us while the nights are romantically wet. But, if you want to be transported to London without leaving your backyard, head straight to the sets of Sivaji.

We are not joking but referring to the huge sets that have been put up at the historic Binny Mills Compound right here in Chennai. Veteran art director Thotta Tharani has recreated the perfect ambience of the majestic city of London with intricate detailing. There is even the quiet Thames flowing by.

Dance master Lawrence has composed some heady movements. Those who saw Rajini perform the steps would never believe the rumors that he suffered from a slipped shoulder. It is the same bubbly Thalaivar style again. Years may go by, wannabe contenders would come and go, the Rajini magic endures and would enthrall us all.
