Shriya is Rajni’s heroine!

Shriya the dark horse has emerged to be the winner as she has bagged the role of superstar Rajnikanth's heroine in AVM's Sivaji to be directed by Shankar.

Remember that this coveted role was eyed by many heroines like Trisha, Nayantara, Asin from south while other names like Aishwarya Rai, Rani Mukherjee, Ayesha Takia were doing the rounds. But Shriya has walked away with the role out of the blue!

Shriya the 20 something Delhi girl did her schooling from the prestigious Delhi Public School(DPS) and later finished her degree from Lady Shriram College. She stared her modeling career and did video albums before she entered the Telugu film industry. She has acted with Chiranjeevi, NTR, Nagarjuna, Balakrishna, Prabhas, Ravi Teja among others. Her first Tamil film is the latest Mazhai opposite Jayam Ravi.

Meanwhile the other technicians to join the Sivaji bandwagon are cameraman K.V.Anand, Art Director Thota Tharani and as reported earlier music director A.R.Rahman.
